A 2007 East Coast Music Award nominee for Pop Recording of the Year; Dana is a graduate of Toronto’s Sheridan Musical Theatre program where she was awarded the APMAR recording award and the Jo Havilland Acting achievement award. She has performed in numerous main stage musical theatre shows both in Toronto and Newfoundland. As the high energy front gal in Pop/Rock, Jazz and Funk genres, she also spent the last few years on several cruise ships with her Jazz group, “The Moon Glow Trio.” Returning home to Newfoundland and Labrador to record and release her debut album, “It’s You Not Me!” she has received critical acclaim and 5 Newfoundland and Labrador Music Industry Awards nominations plus the GALAXIE Rising Star of the CBC for New Artist/Group of the Year.
